All That’s New with Control4 Systems in 2023

OS 3.3.0’s Built-In Color Control 

Control4 recently debuted its new operating system, the OS 3.3.0. Within the new interface, users can get creative with smart lighting thanks to the new color wheel.  

Previous versions of Control4’s OS 3 only offered color selection through blue, red, and green sliders. Now, sliders are replaced by an X, Y color selection wheel, offering more color possibilities to illuminate your home. So, whether you’re highlighting the hydrangeas in summer, setting the dining room to a warm sunset orange for a romantic night in, or setting the cocktail bar’s lights to Celtic green, Control4 gives you total freedom over your lights’ appearance. 

Control4’s All-New Halo Remote 

Sometimes, using a remote feels more intuitive than reaching for a phone app. Building off Control4’s previous Neeo remote, Control has unveiled the new Halo remote line with an exciting new look and features. 

The Halo line is available in two models: the Halo and Halo Touch. Both remotes include a touchscreen and back-lit buttons, but the Halo is slightly smaller than the Halo Touch, measuring in at 2.8 and 3.2 inches respectively. Dual-band Wi-Fi in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz is included with both remotes, so you’ll experience faster-than-ever responses to your commands. The Halo line also has an enhanced battery life and, for the first time, includes lighting controls. 

Vibrant Linear Lighting 

Control4 is going “beyond the bulb” with its new Vibrant Linear line of smart LED light strips. Linear lighting adds depth and intrigue to any room and is the perfect way to bring accent lighting to ceilings, staircases, and under cabinets. Users can now adjust the color and brightness of their Vibrant Linear lights through the Control4 system, saving settings to lighting scenes you can activate again anytime.
